forlabs vials suspended along a ribbon of clear glass

Every vial answers for itself.

Research peptides and compounds in lyophilized form. Each unit leaves with its own code on the label, next to its batch number and its expiry.

Lyophilized powder

Freeze-dried and sealed in the vial. It leaves the laboratory dry and reaches you that way.

Multi dose vial

Every vial holds more than one dose, with the strength printed next to the product name.

One code per unit

Not one code per batch. Two vials from the same run never carry the same code.

Every vial ships in its own case.

Each vial travels inside a translucent forlabs case, with its label facing the window. The case comes off without tools and the vial stays sealed until you open it.

Traceable down to the vial.

A batch number tells you which production run a vial came from. It does not tell you whether the vial in your hand is the one we shipped. The code on the label does.

  • One code per unitNot one per batch. Two vials from the same run never carry the same code.
  • Readable before you open itThe code is printed on the label, beside the batch number. Nothing to peel and nothing to remove: a vial can be checked while it is still in the box.
  • The first reading should be yoursWe count every reading of a code. If a vial says it was read before your first scan, something happened on the way to you.

What the holder sees after scanning

Protected by the same cryptography as Bitcoin.

Every code starts as 80 random bits and is never kept the way it is printed. Our database stores only its SHA-256 fingerprint, the hash function that secures the Bitcoin network.

On the label (example) K7QM 2XRV HTB4 NPLD
In our database 60900861 58088831 bf11f3bf 288ed543 0a876575 4ca22f78 dae5ac7e 08d1a5f3
The fingerprint above is computed live from the example code. It works in one direction only.
Impossible to guess
80 random bits give 1,208,925,819,614,629,174,706,176 possible codes, and the site answers at most 30 checks a minute from any one connection.
Worthless if stolen
A fingerprint cannot be turned back into a code. Once a label is printed, its code exists only on the vial: anyone who copied our entire database would not hold a single working code, and neither do we.
Copies give themselves away
Readings are counted and the first one is recorded with its date. A cloned label shows checks its holder never made.
Private by design
We never keep an address. A connection is stored only as a salted fingerprint that changes every day.

What happens to a batch

From the synthesis of the amino acid sequence to the final analytical validation, the same sequence every time.

Synthesized in audited plants

Chemical and biotechnological plants in China are mapped for technical capability and audited on their solid-phase synthesis before a peptide enters the portfolio.

Characterized and documented

Molecular identity, chromatographic purity and batch-to-batch repeatability are established, and the technical documentation is reviewed against the Drug Master File.

Counter-analysed in the United States

Independent laboratories in the US repeat the analysis by HPLC and mass spectrometry. Only formally validated batches receive our seal of conformity.

Coded unit by unit

Each vial of a validated batch receives its own code, printed on the label beside the batch number and the expiry, so anyone holding it can check it.

Questions

How do I check that a vial is genuine?

Scan the QR code on the label with your phone camera. It opens a page that tells you whether that exact unit is in our database, which batch it belongs to, and how many times it has been read.

Can I type the code instead of scanning it?

No, and that is deliberate. A code that can be typed can be tried, shared and guessed at. It is only valid when read directly from the label.

The page says the vial was already read before. Is it fake?

The first reading of a code should be yours. Nobody handles a vial between this laboratory and you, so a code that has already been read before your first scan means something happened on the way. Take it up with whoever sold it to you, batch number in hand. Scanning the same vial again yourself is normal and counts normally.

What does the batch number tell me?

It identifies the production run, together with the manufacturing and expiry dates printed next to it. It is how a specific vial is traced back to how and when it was made.

How should the vials be stored?

Store the vials at 2-8 °C. Do not freeze. Each product page carries its own storage line.

Do you sell through this website?

No. This site presents our portfolio and a verification tool. There are no prices and no checkout here.

Product verification

Every vial carries a code of its own, printed on the label. Scanning it says whether that exact unit left this laboratory.
